So as anyone reading this knows, I am a complete TV dork. Every year around the end of August, I start filling out my TV grid for the new season. Don't judge, it's more intricate and complicated that you might imagine. This year I decided to let y'all in on the complexity of choosing what to watch each night. Starting with Monday:
7:00 Chuck, Terminator, Gossip Girl. I love Chuck, Terminator was my favorite new show last year, and Gossip Girl is a guilty pleasure. Thankfully, this is less complicated since the CW likes to repeat Gossip Girl on Sunday afternoon's. So I will be watching Chuck, Tivoing Terminator, and catching Gossip Girl on the weekend. Easy enough.
8:00 Heroes, Prison Break, One Tree Hill. This is the exact same issue I have at 7:00. NBC, FOX, CW. Sorry CW, You lose again. I want to watch Heroes, record Prison Break, and catch OTH in the reruns.
9:00 Nothing! Yay! This is when I watch the two shows I recorded earlier.
Of course, the whole schedule changes in January when 24 comes back on Mondays, followed by a new show that I can't wait for, Dollhouse. Dollhouse has a limited run of 13 episodes and will take the place of Prison Break from January through March/April. 24 will be replacing Terminator, which I believe moves to a different night in January. Ahhhh!!
So that's Monday. Stay tuned for future updates on the rest of my TV week.

I love how scientific you are, with grids & everything!
I heard that there's a new DVR that lets you record 4 shows at once. It could be a rumor, but holy shit!!!! I'd never be able to leave my house unless they gave me 1000 hours. =)
I have to map everything out before it starts, otherwise I will end up missing something that I really wanted to watch! This way, I don't miss anything. heh. Plus I like to make up charts and stuff. What I need is a dual tuner DVR, so that I can record two shows and watch a third. Right now I just have the normal Tivo in the living room, and a DVD recorder in the bedroom. So I technically can be recording two things and watching another, but it gets too tricky, even for me, to remember to set the timer on the recorder, don't change the channel and then remember to watch the TV in the living room until it's done recording. Too complicated! I guess I could just watch less TV, but what fun would that be!
