Glambert Rules, Gokey Drools.

Seriously? Seriously?! Here is a list of songs that Danny Gokey, douchebag contestant on American Idol, has sung so far this season: Endless Love, Stand By Me, What Hurts The Most, PYT, Jesus Take The Wheel, Get Ready, Hero...I think I'm missing something else, but damn can this guy pick songs I loathe or what? Every time he opens his douchey mouth to smarm out some douchey song, I just want to smack something. Preferably him. At least he ditched the lesbian glasses this week. Hate him so much.

Oh the other hand...the Glambert can do no wrong in my eyes. That last note he hit tonight was simply amazing! I really love the guyliner and the punk/drag/rock/HotTopic look he has going most weeks. I am a total fangirl over this guy. The last time this happened was when Ace Young was on, and I really just lusted after him. With Adam, I realize I have no chance since I am in fact a woman, however it really doesn't matter. I want to watch an Adam concert, and buy an Adam CD and wear an Adam t-shirt. I am seriously way too old for this shit. Heh. Oh, well! It's nice to look forward to American Idol again every week.

Everyone else is kind of just a big ball of blah to me. Kris is cute. Allison is sixteen going on fifty, with a two pack a day voice, though I do like her most of the time. Matt has that mole that freaks me out, but he can sometimes sound almost like Michael Buble enough that I like him for a few minutes. Lil, or Little as Simon calls her, is totally and completely karaoke. Scott with the blindness and eighties hair really creeped me out. And Anoop! I always forget about Anoop. He reminds me of American Dreamz, the movie starring Hugh Grant and Mandy Moore. There is a Middle Eastern contestant in the movie that Anoop reminds me of every time I see him. Anoop dawg bores the ever living fuck out of me. Good voice, zero charisma.

Sooo. Did anyone else do the Happy Hands Club interpretation of "The Rose" along with Lil's singing tonight? Seriously, you need to watch Napoleon Dynamite, if only for this scene, and the scene at the end with them doing the sign language to a Backstreet Boys song, and Napoleon dancing of course. Vote for Pedro!

I really want to watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show with Adam, with him singing along to all the songs, and me just smiling and laughing and tra-la-la all night long.
