Tracey's Blog About Nothing

Where I write about nothing. Nothing important, nothing earth shattering, nothing you can't live without reading, nothing I can't live without writing. Basically, nothing. And maybe some stuff about TV shows I watch and how I'm doing in my fantasy hockey league.

Buffy rules, Veronica is my copilot, Vaughn=tv boyfriend, Farscape forever

For some people TV shows are simple. They come on at a certain time on a certain day on a certain channel. Me, I am endlessly fascinated by television shows. They entertain or engross or disgust. They make me laugh, they make me cry, they make me throw things, they make me think. Some may be like cotton candy, sweet but ultimately worthless and forgotten, while others are more like a good book, meant to be enjoyed, puzzled over, and analyzed. There is nothing wrong with either approach to television watching. I can puzzle over the machinations on The Hills just as thoroughly as I can turn my mind to a religious/political conondrum on Battlestar Galactica. I love TV. It brings different things to my life for all my different moods and attitudes. I squee over Pam and Jim, I agonize over Starbuck and Apollo, I rewatch the Angel/Buffy/Spike melodrama much more than is reasonably sane. Bones and Booth, LC, Ho's over Bros, Robin and Patrick, the marshmallow game, the soup, the WORD, frak, frell, save the cheerleader, the brothers Winchester, Rambaldi, Sully, Star's Hollow, McDreamy, Vicodin, Captain Oats, WHO ARE YOU WORKING FOR?, HOH, Seacrest Out, Vandelay Industries, River, make it work, smile with your eyes, the Monticito, Babylon, Terrence and Phillip, Logan and Max, Dear Sally...If you know what most of those mean, congrats. You are as addicted to TV as I am.
